Mark is an outdoors enthusiast with a passion for languages, travel and foreign cultures. Born in France to Hungarian and British parents, he grew up in Switzerland before heading to university in the USA, where he learnt Chinese. After obtaining his degree in East-Asian studies, Mark moved to Hungary to train for the 2004 Athens Olympics in fencing. Working as a banker between 2002 and 2006, he longed for an opportunity to use finance to serve the environment. Having joined a carbon finance firm, Mark returned to China in 2006 where he develops, structures and finances greenhouse gas reduction projects. 2009 sees him undertake new challenges as he heads to INSEAD to further his education through an MBA.
