Clarisse is a young and dynamic woman, always looking for new personal and professional challenges. Born in Mexico in 1979, she grew up in Germany and Switzerland. Returning home after a year in the US and Spain, she studied law, specializing in international dispute resolution. Longing for a new adventure, she moved to Beijing in 2005 where she learnt Chinese and managed a beauty service chain before finding her way back to the legal profession. Currently she splits her time between resolving cross-cultural business disputes, her PhD thesis and promoting Sino-Swiss relationships in her role as Secretary General of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. After GOING GLOBAL, Clarisse will spend the rest of 2009 finishing her PhD thesis and searching for a new professional challenge bringing her back to China.
